Emotes Guide
This page introduces Emotes from a public server-docs point of view. It focuses on what the feature does in-game, how to get started when you have access, and which commands are useful.
What It Does
Section titled “What It Does”Emotes gives players a GUI for server emotes that are already implemented as server alias-editor commands, such as /cheer, /shrug, /freeze, /cozy, and similar custom aliases.
How Players Use It
Section titled “How Players Use It”Start with /emotes. The sections below explain what Emotes is for, which commands players can try, and what to expect when your account has access.
Available features include:
- A searchable /emotes GUI for the server emote commands already available to the player.
- Clickable emote entries with plain descriptions and the exact command shape.
- Paginated chat lists for players who prefer commands over a GUI.
- Online-player pickers for emotes with optional or required targets.
- Safe handling for emotes that need non-player arguments.
- A Main Menu shortcut when the Menu plugin is installed and enabled.
Quick Start
Section titled “Quick Start”- Start with
/emotesto open or view Emotes. - Use

Player FAQ
Section titled “Player FAQ”How do I find an emote?
Section titled “How do I find an emote?”Open /emotes, or use /emotes search <keyword>. The menu helps you discover the server’s existing emotes; their direct commands still work.
Why does an emote ask me to pick a player?
Section titled “Why does an emote ask me to pick a player?”Some emotes require an online target. Others allow a target or a “no username” option. Follow the target picker for the emote you selected.
Why did clicking an emote put a command in my chat?
Section titled “Why did clicking an emote put a command in my chat?”Some emotes need extra text instead of a player target. The menu prepares the command so you can finish that text and send it yourself.
Why is an emote unavailable or asking me to wait?
Section titled “Why is an emote unavailable or asking me to wait?”Emotes still follow their access rules and cooldowns. Disabled emotes can be hidden from the menu. Ask staff about a missing favorite rather than repeatedly clicking it.
Good To Know
Section titled “Good To Know”- Some commands may be hidden until your group, event progress, or unlocks allow them.
