AFKShrine Guide

This page introduces AFKShrine from a public server-docs point of view. It focuses on what the feature does in-game, how to get started when you have access, and which commands are useful.

What It Does

AFKShrine turns server AFK time into a small personal shrine experience. When you become AFK, the feature can show soft particles, a private bossbar, and progress views. When you return, AFKShrine can show a private postcard summary and let you claim pending tokens, review rewards, check milestones, and personalize your shrine preset.

How Players Use It

AFKShrine is meant to make being away feel clearer and a little more fun, without automatically dumping rewards into your inventory. Your AFK sessions can create pending AFKShrine tokens, milestone progress, quest progress, and collection album entries. You return, review what happened, then claim or trade rewards when you are ready.

Available features include:

• AFK shrine visuals with soft particles, optional sparkles, and a private bossbar while you are AFK.
• Private welcome-back postcards with AFK time, approximate location, biome, weather or scene, damage taken, progress, cap room, and next actions.
• Dynamic bossbar views for session time, reward eligibility, pending tokens, daily caps, streaks, seasonal progress, and community progress.
• Pending-token claiming and preview-first reward trades through /afkshrine claim, /afkshrine rewards, and /afkshrine trade.
• Time, biome, safety, risk, adventure, weather, seasonal, dimension, collection, and streak milestones and quests.
• Permission-gated particle presets that players can inspect and select.
• A collection album and reset summary showing completed, repeatable, refreshed, and still-available goals.
• Optional low-reward bed-rest activity with cooldown protection.
• Server-wide community milestones with temporary celebration windows.
• Optional captured-item tools and upgrades configured by staff.

Quick Start

1. Start with /afkshrine menu or /afkshrine gui to open the AFKShrine hub.
2. After an AFK session, read the AFK postcard summary and use /afkshrine claim if you have pending tokens.
3. Use /afkshrine rewards before trading so you can see costs, one-time rewards, repeatable rewards, and what you can afford.
4. Use /afkshrine milestones and /afkshrine album when you want to explore longer-term goals.

Good To Know

• AFK postcards are private welcome-back summaries, not public broadcasts.
• The pending-token explanation is plain text; only the short “Click this text to claim them now.” call to action runs /afkshrine claim.
• Pending tokens are not spendable until you claim them with /afkshrine claim.
• Reward trades preview first; commands that spend tokens or items require confirmation.
• Some presets, tools, upgrades, and previews may be locked by rank, event progress, beta access, or server configuration.
• Bed rest and same-location checks are intentionally conservative so AFKShrine stays a fun passive feature instead of a farm.
